12 Day Trek Tingri to Everest base camp

BOOK NOW

One of the most popular treks during 2005 was the trek from Old Tingri to Mount Everest's north face base camp through Drokpa nomad valley. Old Tingri, also known as Gangkar town looks more like a cowboy town in Tibet. Surrounded by mountains and grassland.

The trek is a total of 60 km with a duration of 4 days from Old Tingri at 44oo meters to Mount Everest's north face at 5200 meters through the valley with mountains and villages and nomads.

I have done this trek for around a decade with a few German Travelers; we had a great time. The view of the 4th highest mountain in the world Mount Cho Ou Yo is stunning.  Trekking for four days and finally seeing the summit of Mount Everest is a dream come true for my Travelers.

The month for this trek is starting from May to mid-October. Other months are too cold to trek. The beginning of June and September is the best month for trekking in the Tingri region.
