Day1. Lhasa Arrival [3700m]

Upon reaching Lhasa, your English-speaking Tibetan Guide and Driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel. To adjust to high altitudes, it's important to stay hydrated and take rest to reduce the risk of altitude sickness.

Day2. Lhasa Sightseeing [3700m]

Today, our itinerary includes exploring the Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace, and Sera Monastery. Commencing our tour at the revered Jokhang Temple, established in the 7th century. Our excursion will encompass the awe-inspiring Potala Palace, originally constructed in the 7th century and later renovated in the 17th century. Subsequently, we will proceed to the Sera Monastery, renowned as one of the esteemed universities within the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism, to partake in the enlightening monk's debate in the afternoon.

Day3. Lhasa – Shigatse [354Km, 3900m]

During your morning drive to Kampala pass [4794m], you will catch a sight of Yamdrok-Tso and magnificent views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar in the distance. Lake Yamdrok Yutso, with its turquoise hue, is one of Tibet's three sacred lakes. The unforgettable view of the pincer-shaped turquoise waters of the lake and the spectacular sight of Mt. Nyenchen Khangsar glacier from Karo la pass are highlights of the day.

Drive along the Friendship Southern Highway to Gyantse and explore the renowned Gyantse Kumbum stupa, a breathtaking architectural marvel in Tibet. Later in the afternoon, embark on a 1-hour and 10-minute journey to Shigatse, passing through the picturesque Tibetan farming communities.

Day4. Shigatse – Saga [450Km, 4300m]

Prepare for an extraordinary expedition to Saga, featuring a traverse of the elevated Tso la pass [4900m] and a passage through picturesque nomadic and agricultural regions en route to Lhatse. Our route then leads us to Saga town via Namring and Sangsang, where we will relish the magnificent natural vistas and the tranquil Namring Lake,

Day5. Saga – Darchen [490Km, 4556m]

Today, we venture into the semi-nomadic expanse of Tibet's western reaches, traversing the vast and lofty plateau to immerse in its authentic landscapes. Our path traces the Yarlung Tsampo River, known as the Brahmaputra, leading us to Lake Manasarovar, one of Tibet's revered lakes. Hindus hold the belief that bathing in its waters purifies sins and bestows positive karma. Proceed 30km to Darchin.

Day6. Trek To Dira-Puk Monastery [20Km, 5-6h, 5050m]

Commencing at Darchen town, our journey embarks on a small trail encircling Mount Kailash clockwise at an average altitude of 4700 m over 20 km. Along the path, you will encounter local Buddhist pilgrims engaged in kora and Bon pilgrims moving in the opposite direction. Following a 4-hour trek, we will arrive at Tamdin (4780m), where nomadic tents offer a simple lunch and boiled water. A short 4 km trek from there leads to Dirapuk monastery, passing through some of the most breathtaking scenery on the entire circuit. Rebuilt in 1985, Dirapuk is situated on the north side of the Lha-Chu River, providing a view of the north face of Mt. Kailash. The name 'Dirapuk' originates from 'Dira,' referring to a female yak horn, and 'Puk,' meaning cave; according to legend, a female yak unearthed the cave.

Day7. Trek To Zutul Puk Monastery, [18Km, 6-8h, 4820m]

Today we're taking on the most challenging part of our trek as we navigate across two passes. The path, while a bit steep, is made even more demanding by the high altitude, making our journey slow and tiring. Covering a distance of 18 km, the trail eventually reaches an altitude of 4790 m. As we pass Dikpyala at 5000 m and Dromala at 5500 m, keep an eye out for clusters of prayer flags and Cairns marking the way. Don't forget to take a moment at the pass to enjoy the breathtaking view and catch your breath. Nestled on the back side of Mt. Kailash, the pass offers a stunning view of the mountain. Following the pass, we'll descend into a beautiful valley and pause for a delightful lunch at the Shabjay Dakpo nomadic tent. At 4790 m lies the Zuktrulpuk Monastery, also known as the Miracle Cave, a creation of two revered religious figures, Buddhist Jetsun Milarepa and Bon Jetsun Naro Bonchung. Inside the meditation cave, you'll discover the spiritual beauty of Jetsun Milarepa's footprint and handprint.

Day8. Trek To Darchen - Tada-Guge Kingdom

Today marks the easiest day of the trek, covering 14 km from Zutrulpuk Monastery to Darchen Town. The terrain mainly involves hiking at a relatively constant altitude of about 4500m. After arriving at Darchen town, drive to Tada town and stay for a night at Tada. Today, we will visit one of the last kingdoms in Tibet ( The Guge Kingdom ). Guge is situated around 18km from Tsaparang town. Tsaparang is the town where we will spend the night. Travelers can also enjoy the beauties of the Toling monastery. [280Km, 5-6h]

Day9. Tada-Lake Manasarovar  (260km)5-6hrs

Today, we're heading to the beautiful Lake Manasarovar for an overnight stay. Let's explore the Chiu monastery located near the lake. Along the journey from Tada, we'll stop by the relaxing Tadapuri hot spring. Don't forget, there's another invigorating hot spring right at Lake Manasarovar awaiting us!

Day10. Lake Manasarovar - Saga [460Km, 4400m]

After a wonderful morning at Lake Manasarova, taking in the beauty of the lake, we'll head to Saga town. It's about 400km, and we'll make sure to pause for some photos of the stunning dunes and nature along the route.

Day11. Saga - Shigatse [450Km, 3900m]

Saga stands as a prominent town close to the Mount Kailash area. Our journey from Saga to Namring follows the scenic northern route, allowing us to revel in the breathtaking landscape.

Day12. Shigatse – Lhasa [280Km, 3700m]

Today, you're in for a special visit to the Tashilhunpo Monastery, lovingly crafted in the 15th century by the first Dalai Lama and now home to the esteemed Panchen Lama. Don't forget to explore the vibrant local market upon returning to Lhasa via the scenic Southern Friendship Highway!
