There is a place where if you reach, you will forget the word unhappiness, it's known as Tibet.

Over the years, Tibet has become a dream travel destination for many Travelers. Each year more than fifty thousand Travelers are traveling to Tibet, and the number is increasing.

Travel agencies in Tibet, tour Guides, and tour Drivers families, hotels, and restaurants workers, more than 70 percent of the locals are depending on tourism.

Travelers have helped to improve the lives of many locals in Tibet, and we would like to thank all the Travelers who have traveled to Tibet.

From the Travelers side, everything is done to help the locals, and now it is the time of the Travel agencies in Tibet to take some time to think and at least do something about Eco-tourism and Social Responsibility in Tibet.

During the end of the year 2018, Tibet Travelers has planned the project to help to buy warm jackets for nearly all 319 students and five cooks of the schools at one of the highest situated primary schools in Tibet in the Tingri county Pasum village at the elevation of 4300 meters.

The project became successful in the year 2019 April 11th because of the kindness from the Travelers chosen Tibet Travelers.

As the Tibetan proverb goes: When the bird gets old, it will miss the nest, and when humans get old, they will miss the hometown.

So the year 2019 Social Responsibility Project of Tibet Travelers, we have focused on helping the local Tibetan Students at Pasum village, the hometown area of Tibet Travelers Manager Tenzin Dhondup.

I have started the journey from Lhasa to Shigatse with my sister on the evening of April 8th. The next day, we have traveled to Pasum village. The Journey from Lhasa to Pasum village is around 600KM with a driving duration of nearly 12 hours.

My mother and brothers' family are staying at Pasum village. They have a small shop for locals. On April 10th, my brother took me to the Pasum Primary school to meet the school Principal. I was delighted to meet the Principle of the school.

I have heard that before he was the Vice Principal of the Tashizom village primary school, situated 10km from Pasum village. Tashizom primary school has become the third position of the ten primary schools in the Padruk valley because of him.

The central education office transferred him to Pasum to improve the education of the students at Pasum village.

When I chat with the local Tibetans in Pasum, families are pleased because of him. They even told me that he told students not to throw garbage everywhere.

When students are given a gift, they must bring the plastics and waste back to school, so he seemed very well educated and determined Principle of the school.

By seeing him, we can feel that the young Tibetan Principle has so much positive energy on improving the education of the students.

After giving the warm jackets to nearly 319 students and five cooks, the school Principle thanked me. I have promised him to help more in the future if I can.

The students are very well taken care of by the central. The clothes and foods are all excellent. I have focused on helping them since almost all of them are farmers' children and I do have a responsibility to support them from the beginning, which is the place where I was born, and I will take wider Tibet Travelers path of giving to locals to other areas in Tibet too.

When I saw the face of the students, the pure innocent and true clean nature of the children, it made my day that at least we Tibet Travelers had done something right.
