1. Travel from Chengdu to Nyingchi Miling airport by flight.
The flight ticket price and duration from Chengdu to Nyingchi is almost similar with Chengdu to Lhasa.
Duration is around 2 hours and the price of the flight ticket is around 250 US dollar one way.
After arriving in Nyingchi Miling airport, Travelers can travel to all the sightseeing located in the Nyingchi Prefecture and travel to Lhasa or fly back to Chengdu.
2. Travel overland from Lhasa to Nyingchi.
This is one of the most popular traveling routes to Nyingchi.
Traveling overland from Lhasa to Draksum Lake or travel directly to Bayi district in the Nyingchi Prefecture. Bayi district is central to Nyingchi Prefecture. They are a few 3- star and 4-star hotels in the Bayi district for the night.
The highway from Lhasa to Nyingchi is making the travel duration to Nyingchi Bayi district around 3 hours shorter.

Tsetang has located about 200 km from Lhasa and around 320 km from Nyingchi Prefecture.

Nyingchi is one of the richest nature Prefectures in the Tibet Autonomous Region so they are many stunning sightseeings located in the Nyingchi Prefecture.
1. Draksum
Even though they are few Lakes located in the Nyingchi Prefecture, one of the most stunning lakes is Draksum Tso. Located around 110 km from the Nyingchi Bayi district.
Draksum lake is special because of its nature surrounded by mountains and green forests.

2. Mount Namchak Barwa
Bayi is the central city in the Nyingchi Prefecture. Mount Namchak Barwa, meaning Thunderbolt has located around 40 km from the Bayi district.
Mount Namchak Barwa is the 28th highest mountain in our world, the 15th highest mountain in Tibet.
The altitude of Mount Namchak Barwa is 7, 782 meters ( 25, 531 ft)
Namchak Barwa is also known as one of the most beautiful mountains in Tibet. The mountain looks like a woman lying down with hair fallen down.
Travelers can enjoy a stunning view of Mount Namchak Barwa from the Bonri mountain near Lulang town.
3. Lulang Green Region
Lulang town is located around 40 km from the Bayi district. Lulang is also known as small Switzerland in Tibet because of its stunning nature with mountains, green nature, and clean running rivers.
