18. Tibet Trip to Chimpuk Hermitage
From Samye, our travelers journeyed to the Chimpuk hermitage, home to the meditation caves of renowned Yogis. Travelers can explore a small nunnery. The footprints of masters can be observed for blessings. Our travelers decided to hike up to the meditation caves of the great Yogi. 21. Tibet Travel 5-Star Review
Incredible experience with an incredible guide and company
We are thrilled to receive 5-star excellent reviews from our valued travelers on both TripAdvisor and Google Maps.
Just finished up a wonderful 10-day tour with Tibet Travelers with my partner and a friend. We chose the 10-day spiritual lakes and hikes tour, and it blew our minds. In Tibet, foreigners must have a tour guide in order to explore, and I have to say, Tibet Travelers far exceeded our expectations. Communication was consistent and easy from the very first email. Tenzin guided us through the complicated visa/permitting process and made sure all of our questions were answered before we arrived.
Our guide, Gelek, was both friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He was truly invested in us having a memorable experience and went out of his way to ensure we were as comfortable and happy as possible. Two of us in our party even celebrated our birthdays on this trip, and Gelek and Tenzin went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time with cake and traditional Tibetan music.
This company is thorough, well-run, and, most importantly, happy to accommodate and adjust to your needs. Our happiness was clearly on their minds the entire trip. I highly recommend these guys to anyone thinking about a trip to Tibet. They are great people, and I can’t imagine going with anyone else.
