Ganden to Samye 11 Day Trek

Trekking is the best way to witness the hidden beauties of Tibet. Trekking helps to keep a healthy body and mind.
One of the best Treks from Lhasa city is the 11-Day Ganden to Samye Monastery Trek. The duration of the Trek is 4 days in total. The trek will start from Drupchi village near Ganden Monastery and ends at the Yemalung retreat area near Samye Monastery.
The highlight of the Trek
Travelers can witness the beauties of Nomads, grassland, and fresh river from the mountains. Stunning view of two lakes namely Shou Tso, and Palang Tso. They are no vehicle routes so the trek is peaceful.

The difficulty of the Trek
No need for professional gear for this trek. Travelers will have to cross two high passes namely Chitula at 5200 meters and Shaola at 5100 meters so we highly recommend a few minutes of daily exercise before traveling to Tibet for the trek.
Best Month to Trek
The best month to trek will be from the beginning of September for the best view. Travelers can also trek from mid-May to mid-October.
