Are you interested in embarking on an exciting journey to Mt. Everest Base Camp and Namtso Lake with our group tour on August 8th? Three confirmed participants are on our tour, and the departure is guaranteed.

We'll take you on a fantastic journey from Lhasa to Mount Everest base camp and Namtso Lake. Our adventure will begin by exploring the stunning city of Lhasa, where you'll visit some of the most important Buddhist sites, including the Jokhang Temple, the Sera Monastery, and the Potala Palace.

We can't wait to share this incredible experience with you! While in Shigatse, we'll stop at the Sakya monastery before heading to Mt. Everest's North Face Base Camp. If the weather is clear, you'll have the chance to witness the breathtaking beauty of a sunset, sunrise, and stars in the night sky at the world's highest peak!

After visiting Everest, we'll return to Lhasa via Shigatse and then drive north to Namtso Lake through Nyemo Valley. Day1. Arrival and Transfer to the Hotel

Upon your arrival at Lhasa airport or train station, you will be greeted by your Tibetan guide; from the airport to Lhasa city is 60km, and a one-hour drive will take you to the holy city of Lhasa. You are driving along the Brahmaputra River and Lhasa River. If you accept the train to Lhasa, you usually will arrive late afternoon or evening; a 20-minute drive will bring you to your hotel in Lhasa City. Check into the hotel and rest well to acclimatize to the high altitude.

Day2. Lhasa City Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will visit the Jokhang, the holiest Buddhist temple in the Himalayas. Each day, many thousands of Buddhist pilgrims come here to worship. Many have traveled well over a thousand kilometers by foot to see this 1400-year-old temple. After lunch, you will visit the 600-year-old massive monastery complex of Sera. While at Sera, you watch the monks engage in entertaining Buddhist philosophical debates. In the evening, you will have free time to wander around the Old Town alone.

Day3. Lhasa City Sightseeing

Today, we visited the beautiful Potala and Norbulingka Palaces. Potala Palace is the Winter Palace, built in the 17th century by the fifth Dalai Lama. It provides fantastic views of the entire city and houses the private quarters of the Dalai Lama, numerous grand staterooms, and chapels. Norbulingka Palace is the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, built in the 18th century by the seventh Dalai Lama.

Potala Palace

Day4. Lhasa / Gyantse / Shigatse

Morning drive up to Kampala pass [4794m], you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-Tso and spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar in the distance; the turquoise-colored Lake Yamdrok Yutso is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, the unforgettable vista of the pincer-shaped turquoise water of the lake and fantastic spectacle of Mt. Nyenchen Khangsar glacier from Karo la pass is wonders of the day.

Then, along the Friendship Southern Hwy drive to Gyantse, visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumbum, one of Tibet's most stunning architectural wonders. Late afternoon travel to Shigatse with a driving duration of 1 hour 10 minutes through the beautiful farming culture in Tibet.[3,840m], 360KM, 7hrs.

Day5. Shigatse / Sakya / Pelber

In the morning, visit Tashilunpo Monastery after driving to Sakya and visit Sakya monastery on the way, then go to Pelber across Tsou-la Pass (4500m) and Gyatso-la Pass (5220m); with good weather, you can see your first views of Mount Everest. At the end of the day’s 230km journey, we arrive in the evening at Pelber (New Tingri) (4300m) 200KM, 4hrs.

Gawu la pass

Day6. Pelber / Gawu La / Everest Base Camp

This day will take you from Pelber to Tibet’s North Face of Mount Everest Base Camp. Along the way, you will be passing through several small Tibetan farming villages that you will be able to photograph. You will cross over the 5200M Geu La Pass, which offers a panoramic view of the glacier-covered Himalayas. You can see 4 of the world’s 15 highest peaks, including Everest.

From Gawu La, you will then go to Rongphu, the highest monastery in the world at just under 5000 meters in elevation. The iconic view of Everest from here will be a high point of your journey! You will then continue to the Tent Hotels, which operate from mid-April through mid-October. Travelers can also stay at the Rongbuk Monastery Guesthouse. The driving distance from Pelber to the Everest area is 100 kilometers, with a driving time of around 4 hours. [5,200m], 100KM.

Mount Everest

Day7. Rongbuk / Shegar / Shigatse

After breakfast, see the sunrise at Everest Base Camp, then drive to Lhasa through the same route from Gawu la Pass with the last view of the Himalayan range; stop at any point if you find interest. Overnight at Shigatse. [3,840m], 340 km, 6-7hour Drive.

Day8. Shigatse / Nyemo Valley/ Damxung

After breakfast, drive to Nyemo Valley to see nomads and farmers and nature; there are No tourists (this will be a highlight for the day, so you can spend lots of time and then drive to Yangpachen hot spring pool, and you can decide on to go to or not by paying entrance fees directly at there and move to Damxung on the way you will see Mt. Tanggu-la (7500m)and stay a night in a 2-star hotel. [4,400m], 360Km, Around 7 hours Drive.

Namtso Lake Stunning

Day9. Damxung / Namtso / Lhasa

After breakfast, drive through grasslands to Namtso Lake, “Heavenly Lake.” Before getting to the lake, we will go through the (Largen la pass (5200m) to see the view of the lake from far away and then still drive about 35km to reach the Lake. Spend the afternoon along the lakeside, and later go back to Lhasa.  Happy nomad families dwelled in their cozy yak wool tents on the grassy pastures, and some close to the road were visitable for having a new experience; before reaching Lhasa, the fertile valleys are nice looking with villages and their orthogonal fields.  [3,650m], 310Km, 6-7hours Drive.

Day10. Lhasa Airport / Train Station Dropping Off

Good morning. Lhasa airport or train station is dropping off. The time comes to say farewell to your guide and driver.
