Tibetan Buddhism Recommendations

Before starting this article, I would like to Bow three times to Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.

A few years back, I was very curious about how Buddha become enlightened. I start doing Wikipedia and I found a meditation state known as Jhana was one part of his enlightenment, then I started reading many Tibetan Masters spiritual books and finally, I came to the conclusion that Compassion is the main seed of understanding the Emptiness and enlightenment of all the Buddhas.

The reason behind writing this article is many Travelers who are traveling to Tibet are curious of Tibetan Buddhism and through my little experience, I would like to share and recommend few of the important and precious Tibetan masters and spiritual books and stories.

1. Je Milarepa Biography

One Biography where we can read about every emotions starting from hate to love. The beginning of revenge and the feeling of regret and finally the purification of evil karma and attainment of enlightenment. Je Milarepa's Biography is one of the favorite biographies to recommend to the Tibetan Buddhism seekers.

2.Teachings and books of Master Gendun Chomphel

Master Gendun Chomphel has composed many books including the Karmasutra, his works are quite unique and his way of teaching is bit modern so great option for Buddhism seekers.

3. Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Lodro Rinpoche

One of my favorite 21st century Tibetan Buddhist master is Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, his teachings are straightforward and right to the point and I love the way he put everything into pieces, making it so clear to see the problem, as long as you see the problem, you are very close to solving the problem.

I love all of his proverbs and teachings, one of the highlights: Spiritual path: the moment you feel comfortable, to pull the rug out of your feet.

The story of great Indian master Chandrakirti milking from a painted cow.

The best part is about the meditation when he shows us very clear about how to change our karma via changing our habit. Below I will share few of his books and links where you can listen to his teachings.
